# Terms of Service for SparringBuddy App

**Operated by**: Ovion Limited ("we," "us," or "Company")

By downloading, accessing, or using the SparringBuddy mobile application ("App") or related services ("Services"), you ("User" or "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

## 1. Description of Services
The App is a platform for matching users interested in casual Muay Thai sparring sessions, drills, or training, primarily in outdoor locations like parks or beaches in Thailand and around the world or wherever the users agree on to meet and train. It facilitates connections for one-off or regular sessions but does not provide training, equipment, or supervision. All matches are user-initiated and occur at your own risk. We are not responsible for anything that happens during meetups facilitated by our app.

## 2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
- The App is not for children; we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
- You must provide accurate information during registration.

## 3. User Accounts
- Create an account with accurate details (e.g., skill level, preferences).
- You are responsible for your account security and all activities under it.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations (e.g., harassment, false info).

## 4. User Conduct
- Use the App only for lawful purposes.
- Prohibited: Harassment, discrimination, illegal activities, spamming, or misrepresenting yourself.
- Respect others: Sessions must be consensual, safe, and fun-focused.
- Report issues via in-app tools; we investigate but do not guarantee resolution.

## 5. In-Person Meetings and Safety
- All sessions are arranged directly between users; we are a matching platform only.
- Meet in public, well-lit areas; share emergency contacts.
- We recommend verifying identities and skill levels before meeting.
- **Safety Disclaimer**: Muay Thai involves physical contact and risk of injury. Use proper gear, warm up, and stop if uncomfortable.

## 6. Liability Disclaimers and Waivers
- **Assumption of Risk**: By using the App, you acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activities like sparring, including injury, property damage, or death. You participate at your own risk.
- **Release of Liability**: You waive, release, and discharge us, our affiliates, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or sessions, including negligence (to the extent permitted by law).
- **No Medical Advice**: The App is not a substitute for professional training or medical advice. Consult a doctor before participating; we make no health warranties.
- **No Guarantees**: We do not vet users or guarantee match quality, safety, or outcomes. Sessions may not occur or meet expectations.
- **Indemnification**: You agree to indemnify us against claims from your actions or sessions.
- **Limitation of Liability**: Our liability is limited to the maximum extent under law (e.g., no indirect damages). In jurisdictions like Thailand or the EU, this does not limit statutory rights.

## 7. Intellectual Property
- The App and content are owned by us or licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive license for personal use.
- User-generated content (e.g., profiles) grants us a royalty-free license to use for App operations.

## 8. Termination
- We may terminate your access for any reason, without notice.
- Upon termination, your license ends; delete the App.

## 9. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by Hong Kong law, with disputes resolved in Hong Kong courts (subject to mandatory local laws, e.g., Thai consumer protection or EU GDPR).

## 10. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance. Check www.sparringbuddy.com for updates.
